Farmhouse Halloween 2017

Hello and Happy Halloween!! Halloween is and always has been ever since I was a little girl one of my absolute favorite holidays. I just love everything about it...especially decorating for it. We have an annual Halloweenfest family weekend here and I thought I would share a little of how I decorated the farmhouse this year for it. I am usually so busy getting everything ready that I don't have the time to take any pictures but I managed to snap a few this year!

I always like to do a big focal point on the mantel so this year I used an old metal gate. I know you are so sick of hearing me say this but I bought it at the Springfield, Ohio Antique Extravaganza from the best vendor ever (West Virginia Primitives) that is across from us. I knew it would be perfect for this type of thing or for a great back drop when needed. My sister made a bunch of the "BOO" banners on old shingles for the Hocus Pocus Vintage Market and I just had to have one too.

Of course I can't decorate anything without adding some white ironstone, it is just always the perfect addition no matter what I am decorating for.

I always put something creepy crawly just about everywhere you look and lots of candles all around the house. My family was joking that the farmhouse was "Creepy Cozy" this year:)

Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
