I don't know if it is the warm weather we have been having or what but I can't believe it is time for Thanksgiving already! We go to my in-laws for Thanksgiving but that doesn't stop me from adding some Thanksgiving touches around here.
I was so excited to see that Walmart has super long burlap table runners for $6 (they are in wedding section). The one I bought is so long that it actually has to be folded in half to fit the length of our table.
And what is Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie right, one of my favorite things on earth:)
I have noticed that most of the bloggers I follow have started their Christmas decorating! Neal and I made up a rule (just to be silly) at our house that nothing Christmasy is allowed until the day after Thanksgiving, but that doesn't mean I don't have ideas brewing in my head!
I am ever so thankful to have you guys and I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year we are especially thankful because we have a new baby in the family that we get to go meet on Thanksgiving!!!
Just lovely! Small changes from the blue and white to the lovely natural colors of your linens and pillows make such a difference. Thanks for sharing

ReplyDeleteYour home is so peaceful and so calming - I love visiting through your blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing. It always lifts my spirit to see your home and makes me want to get rid of 80% of my stuff (I'm working on it). Happy Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYour home is AMAZING!!! Looks so comfy and peaceful... May I ask where you purchased you couch and chair??? Are they slipcovered???
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Yes they are slipcovered and are from Arhaus, I have a direct link on my sidebar to the exact ones we have!

DeleteYour home is just so lovely - I can't tell you how much I absolutely love seeing photos of it. I have gotten so many great decorating ideas from you, as I slowly make over my hodgepodge of a house into more of a definite style. Thanks for the tip on the burlap runner, it is just what I need to pull my table together.
ReplyDeleteThe galvanized candle holder?Old or new? Still available?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Gayle , peaceful and calming. I don't agree with Terri , however , I don't want to get rid of my stuff. It's a collection of my lifetime.I still love it.
Love your touches of autumn and the pie. I will get a few more items out before all the company decends for the weekend but for now it is just a few pumpkins. Happy Thanksgiving, Linda @ bushelandapickle.com
ReplyDeleteIt makes me happy to only see autumn and Thanksgiving decor until the day after Thanksgiving. I understand that bloggers need to plan ahead but seeing Christmas decorations before the 4th Thursday in November is stress-inducing!
ReplyDeleteLove your home, especially that it is a farmhouse. We recently purchased a 100 year old farmhouse in VA. Love it!
What a beautiful light home you have and that pie it looks yummie we don't have thanksgiving in the Netherlands but wish you happy thanksgiving for you family and friends!
